I used to write for a now-defunct online platform that highlighted lesser known local artists. What thrilled me about it was getting to interact with people who were passionate and confident about their craft. The artists I met showed me that art is a discipline that you had to have the courage to pursue over and over again.
This personal project follows this train of thought. It was born out of a desire to connect with artists in an intimate space that few would see outside a gallery or exhibition. It was a way to glance behind the scenes at the creative process. The idea first came to me during a leisurely week in Fermoy, a town in Ireland.
